Partagas Y Nada Mas Santiago cigars are made in the Dominican Republic with a Habano 2000 wrapper, Sumatra binder, and a blend of Piloto, Corojo, Ecuadorian and Broadleaf filler tobaccos. These cigars became available in May 2025 in three sizes including a Robusto (5 x 50) priced at $7.99 per stick, which is the subject of this review. For more information about these cigars, please check out the press release.
The sample Partagas Y Nada Mas Santiago Robusto began with a very enjoyable naturally sweet tobacco flavor. After several puffs, the sweetness began to fade away as cedar and earth became the dominant flavors for the remainder of the smoking session, and the smoke was medium bodied throughout.
The cigar had a good draw, mostly even burn and held a long ash. One minor touch-up was applied after the first 10 minutes, and I ashed the cigar for the first time after another 10 minutes and then removed the band. After an additional 20 minutes, I ashed the cigar again for the second time. Five minutes later, the cigar went out by itself with two inches remaining, after a total smoke time of 45 minutes. The sample cigar did not require any relights.
The first few puffs of the Partagas Y Nada Mas Santiago Robusto tasted better than the rest of the cigar, which had a mediocre and consistent flavor of cedar and earth after the initial sweetness faded away. This is what I consider to be an average cigar, and rate it with a decent 3.5 points on a 5-point scale.
