Review of Partagas Y Nada
Más Cibao Robusto Cigar

By: Gary Manelski

Partagas Y Nada Más Cibao cigars are made in the Dominican Republic with an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, Sumatra binder, and a blend of Habano Vuelta Abajo, Criollo, and Pennsylvania Broadleaf filler tobaccos. These cigars are the second in the Y Nada Más line of Partagas cigars, and became available at cigar retailers during May 2026 in three vitolas, including the Robusto (5 x 50) size priced at $7.99 per stick. For more information about these cigars, please see the press release.

The sample Partagas Y Nada Cibao Robusto began with a sweet and spicy flavor that was quickly joined by leather within the first five minutes. During the next few minutes, the leather became predominant and was complimented by the initial spicy and sweet flavors. The smoke was medium-to-full bodied and smooth. The flavors were nicely balanced and were pretty consistent for the remainder of the smoking session.

About 20 minutes after lighting up, a minor touch-up was applied and I ashed the cigar for the first time 5 minutes later, then also applied a second touch-up. At the 50-minute mark, I ashed the cigar for the second time and applied a third touch-up. I continued smoking until the cigar went out by itself with 1¾ inches remaining after a total duration of 65 minutes, which was very impressive for a Robusto size.

I enjoyed the Partagas Y Nada Mas Cibao from start to finish, and liked it more than the first Santiago version in the Y Nada Mas line. The Cibao had a great draw that provided a large volume of smoke, and the cigar held a long ash. No relights were needed, but the burn was uneven at times and required three touch-ups. But again, a total smoking time of 65 minutes for a 5x50 Robusto is very impressive. I rate the Partagas Y Nada Mas Cibao Robusto cigar with a very good 4 points on a 5-point scale.
