El Titan de Bronze Nicaragua is the Miami-based company's first cigar made outside of the United States, and is also their first cigar to be distributed nationally by General Cigar. The cigars are made in Nicaragua with a Broadleaf wrapper, Mexican binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. El Titan de Bronze Nicaragua cigars became available during March 2026 in four sizes priced between $7.99 and $9.49. This is a review of the Robusto size (5 x 54) priced at $8.49 per cigar. For more information about these cigars, please see the press release.
The sample El Titan de Bronze Nicaragua cigar began with a spicy flavor that was quickly joined by a brief earthy taste that was overcome by leather and wood flavors during the first five minutes. The spicy taste continued but began to moderate. The smoke was medium-to-full bodied, and gradually became smoother within another five minutes while being joined by a brief hint of nuts. The spice continued to moderate as the cigar was smoked, with leather gradually becoming the predominate taste along with hints of spice in the background. These flavors lasted until the end of the smoking session.
At the 20-minute mark, I applied a minor touch-up to keep the burn even and then ashed the cigar for the first and only time after another 5 minutes. The cigar did not require any relights, and burned perfectly until it went out by itself with 1½ inches remaining after 55 minutes of total smoking time. The El Titan de Bronze Nicaragua Robusto was very well made and had a very good draw and held a long ash. It is a decent cigar for the price, and worthy of a good to very good rating of 3.75 points on a 5-point scale.
