Review of Cohiba Serie M
Reserva Plata 2026 Cigar

By: Gary Manelski

Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata 2026 is a limited-edition cigar made in Miami at El Titan de Bronze. This is the sixth iteration of Serie M Cohiba's made in the United States. These cigars are handmade by Certified Level 9 rollers using a Mexican San Andreas wrapper, Nicaraguan Esteli binder, and a blend of select Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos. They became available during March 2026 in one Toro size (6 x 52) priced at $29.99 per cigar. For more information about these cigars, please see the press release.

The sample Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata cigar started off with a full and rich flavor of earth and cedar. Within the first 10 minutes, the predominate flavor was earth along with wood and nuts more in the background. About five minutes later, the earth and wood flavors became more evenly balanced with nuts still in the background. I ashed the cigar for the first time after 25 minutes into the smoking session. By the 30-minute mark, the flavors of earth, wood and nuts became more evenly balanced and then remained pretty much consistent until the last puff.

After 45 minutes of smoking time, I applied a minor touch-up to keep the burn even. The burn was occasionally uneven during the smoking session, but was corrected by just a bit more puffing and rotating except for just the one touch-up. At the 50-minute point, I ashed the cigar for the second time. The flavor continued to remain consistent, and the cigar was very well made having a great draw, holding a long ash, and not requiring any relights. The flavor was full and the smoke was medium-to-full bodied.

After 75 minutes of smoking, I ashed the cigar for the third and final time. I continued smoking for another 10 minutes until the cigar went out by itself, making for a total smoking time of 85 minutes down to just under two inches remaining.

I enjoyed the Cohiba Serie M Reserva Plata cigar from start to finish, and rate it with an excellent 4.5+ points on a 5-point scale. This is the highest rating of the four Serie M cigars that I have now reviewed (did not review the 2023 and 2024 editions), and they have been getting a bit better with every review since first being introduced in 2021. These cigars are not suggested for beginners, and would be most appreciated by seasoned cigar connoisseurs.
