Other than cigar bars, smoking is not usually allowed inside of most bars. However, some bars will actually infuse your cocktail with smoke from various types of wood chips, which has got to be the next best thing to smoking and drinking in the traditional sense. The smoke from the wood not only adds flavor to the cocktail (as well as creating an aesthetic visual experience), but the aroma stimulates your olfactory nerves and taste buds before the liquid from your drink even touches your tongue.
