Cigars and Cruising
Our latest in a series of cruise adventures was a January 2018 sailing on the Carnival Vista, which is currently Carnival's newest and largest ship. Among the many activities that I enjoyed was puffing on cigars at two locations on the ship's open decks. Cigar smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the ship, including staterooms and balconies. STG Acquires Thompson Cigar
On January 31, 2018, Scandinavian Tobacco Group signed an agreement to acquire the business of Thompson and Co. of Tampa, Inc. (“Thompson”). The purchase price amounts to USD 62 million and the acquisition will be financed by existing cash at hand. The closing of the deal is expected to take place by the end of March 2018. Read more!
Review of The Glen Cigar
The Glen is a cigar seasoned with Single Malt Scotch and sealed in a glass tube, from Ted's Cigars. Although we do not usually review flavored cigars, they can still be enjoyed on occasion for a change of pace.
